The product is accessible via the BANKILY application developed by the Banque Populaire de Mauritanie or via the USSD codes of partner operators. The Bankily Product offers the possibility of opening and managing a bank account via a mobile phone. It gives access to other features such as money transfer, merchant payment, payment of electricity, water or internet bills and instant phone credit recharging. The product aims to make the opening of a bank account accessible to all Mauritanian residents regardless of their geographical location and purchasing power.
